How to be a Professional Trader

I came across Courtney Smith’s YouTube video on how to be a pro trader.  Courtney was a great mentor of mine, and although I developed my own trading system, the ideas and concepts in this video are reflected in my own trading, including tight risk management, rule based trading and discipline.

If you are new to trading this explains and outlines the areas that all traders must focus on to get great results year after year.  In particular from a psychological point of view, I agree with Courtney that it is better to learn the techniques and test them yourself.  This is why I am so looking forward to my training course in June, as although most people will probably continue to follow my trades after they learn the technique, they will be able to test it for themselves on any stock they choose.
