Gratitude

I came across this picture of my home when I was trailing through my family pictures yesterday and it reminded me how grateful I am to wake up every morning doing something I love to do and getting to live where I do.   I am truly blessed.  I hope that each of you that read this blog find your calling.  The thing that makes you leap out of bed in the morning, excited about the day ahead and what you have to achieve with the rewards that come with that.  The Greeks had a word for it, they called it entheos, translating to English as “full of the god, inspired, possessed”.  It is the foundation of the word enthusiasm. What are you enthusiastic about in your working life?

Whatever it is, whether you have found it yet or not, I hope you get to live in a little slice of your own version of paradise.
